Plant Life Balance has launched!

2 November 2017

On October 30, the Plant Life Balance campaign launched online and in-store in 100 retail nurseries across Australia.

The response from consumers has been overwhelmingly positive and the campaign has received great coverage from a range of online media outlets. These include articles in The Herald Sun (this story also appeared in The Adelaide Advertiser, The Daily Telegraph, The Courier Mail, Northern Territory News and The West Australian), The Australian (this story also appeared on and Yahoo), MashableTriple J Hack (trending on the ABC homepage for 24 hours), Gizmodo and Women Love Tech, as well as media partnerships with Concrete PlaygroundDomain and Hort Journal.

There has also been extensive radio coverage across 3AW Melbourne, ABC Adelaide, Hobart & Melbourne - with Red SymonsTalking Lifestyle with Tim Webster (airs nationally), 6PR Perth, Fox FM Melbourne and FiveAA Adelaide.

The campaign has so far generated 70 media clippings which have had a collective reach of over 32+ million.

Tune in next week to National TV outlets, The Morning Show (6 Nov), The Daily Edition (8 Nov) and The Today Show (13 Nov) to see brand ambassador Jamie Durie in action, talking to audiences live about the app.

If you haven't already, the free Plant Life Balance digital kit is available for you, or any nurseries you work with, to download. This kit includes tiles for social media, the Plant Life Balance logo pack and a video ad for your social media and other digital channels.

And remember, you, or the nurseries you work with, can also become Plant Life Balance accredited by downloading the learning module and taking the accreditation test. This process has been developed to help nursery staff feel comfortable discussing the simple science behind the app and how it can be used to increase sales.

The Plant Life Balance app is Australia's first virtual greening app which uses augmented reality to get people confident about styling their homes with plants while promoting the health and wellbeing benefits they bring. It is available to download now from the App Store and Google Play.

Spread the word and get greening!
