Confirming the South Australian Urban Forestry Masterclass - September 28

September 28 2016

The 202020 Vision team is excited to announce that we have confirmed our South Australian Urban Forestry Masterclass on September 28. In partnership with the Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources and Adelaide City Council we are continuing our effort to support and facilitate the growth of urban green spaces in all of Australia’s capital cities.

Building on the success of the Masterclass successes that we have now had in Canberra, Perth, the Sunshine Coast and Sydney, the Adelaide Masterclass will focus on how to increase urban green space within the local context. Including identifying the benefits and drivers for more green and ‘living infrastructure’  in metropolitan SA, focusing specifically on heat, health, design and economics. It will also offer the green space community the opportunity to unpack and explore the recently reviewed 30 year Plan for Greater Adelaide which outlines the targets for increasing green space in the region.
