NATIONAL PRESS OFFICE UPDATES – MAY

4 June 2019

April was another great month of securing media coverage on urban greening-related topics, as well as several pieces announcing the launch of this year's Growing Together national tour.

Working with 202020 Vision advocates Xiaoqi Feng and Thomas-Astell Burt, the team landed a story on Kidspot highlighting research that confirms access to quality green space promotes mental health benefits in post-partum women.
The Press Office also secured the inclusion of 202020 Vision's Benchmarking Australia’s Urban Tree Canopy report in a Fairfax story calling for Sydney to be managed as an urban forest. The article appeared in the Sun Herald print and online across The Sydney Morning Herald, The Brisbane Times, The Age and WA Today.

Lastly, to support the recently-launched Growing Together national tour, the Press Office secured coverage of the tour in Sustainability Matters, Architecture and Design, and Floral Daily.
