City of Melbourne

m2 To the vision

About this organisation

City of Melbourne manages an urban forest of over 77,000 trees and a network of nearly 480 hectares of internationally acclaimed parks and gardens. With an ambitious Urban Forest Strategy seeking to double canopy cover to 40% and an Open Space Strategy aiming to increase open space by 7.6%, the city is working to ensure every resident is within 300 meters of a quality green space.

Why we support the vision

More trees means a more liveable city with healthier and happier communities. We think that's something we can all agree upon.
