m2 To the vision

About this organisation

The Centre for Sustainable Design and Behaviour (sd+b) works towards more liveable, sustainable and low carbon cities.

We are architects, urban designers, researchers and scientists and we deliver the evidence-base for policy and the argument why green roofs, green walls and community gardens have a positive social impact on the city’s residents.

Why we support the vision

We understand that green spaces can have a significant and positive impact on the perception and usage of urban spaces, precincts and buildings.

With a warmer urban future (due to global warming), we are particularly interested in the mitigation of urban heat stress and in maintaining comfort in public spaces during heat waves.
