Sprout Landscape Architecture

m2 To the vision

About this organisation

Sprout was established in 2009 after Martin Pell left the security of a multi-national design firm seeking collaborative approaches to Landscape Architecture and design. One of Sprout's early engagements was a collaboration with artists from Sydney and Melbourne to deliver a series of installations in Martin Place, Kings Cross, Hyde Park and Circular Quay, Sydney’s most iconic public places. This work was featured in Lord Mayor Clover Moore’s ‘City Conversations’ public talk series and crystallised the studios focus on public space. Sprout's portfolio now encompasses a variety of projects, all demonstrating the studio's strengths in site engineering, construction technology and a refined design expression of social and ecological narratives. Based in Marlborough House, Surry Hills, the studio continues to service the private and public sector enjoying collaborations with an array of prominent Built Environment thinkers and practitioners.
